March 2021: Online workshop series

The ROC held a series of small online workshops between Thursday 25 March and Tuesday 30 March, and we were pleased to record over 50 attendances by representatives of registered organisations and registered auditors. We thank attendees for their support.

Topics discussed included:

• financial reporting
• related parties
• notifications of change; and
• observations of the rules of registered organisations

We designed these workshops as small groups to maximise the opportunity for attendees to ask questions and participate in discussion. 100% of people who attended and completed a post-workshop survey said they would attend another event hosted by the ROC.

At a time when we cannot host in-person workshops due to the ongoing pandemic, our online education events have provided opportunities for representatives of registered organisations to learn more about compliance in an interactive environment.
